The result: architectural gardens, truly open-air settings, with light and water as constructive elements, the use of color as a backdrop for the plants’ graphic qualities, and sustainability and connection with the surrounding landscape as essential goals. He will be at DeltaLand to discuss the keys to his designs, the challenges he has faced, and continues to face, as a landscaper in his field, and the solutions this anticipatory gardening offers in the face of the harsh conditions imposed by global warming.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row wrap_container=”yes” content_placement=”middle” css=”.vc_custom_1687347447244{padding-top: 60px !important;padding-bottom: 80px !important;background-color: #ededed !important;}” conditional_render=”%5B%7B%22value_role%22%3A%22administrator%22%7D%5D”][vc_column width=”1/2″ el_class=”pe-lg-4″][vc_row_inner el_class=”justify-content-end”][vc_column_inner animation_delay=”600″ offset=”vc_col-md-9″ animation_type=”fadeInRight”]

SPEAKER AB Paisatgistes

Albert Bestard

[/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″ el_class=”ps-lg-4″][vc_row_inner el_class=”justify-content-start”][vc_column_inner offset=”vc_col-md-10″][vc_single_image image=”17592″ img_size=”full” css=”” animation_delay=”500″ el_class=”mb-0″ animation_type=”zoomIn” css_params=””][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1747061338661{margin-right: 10px !important;border-right-width: 10px !important;padding-right: 10px !important;}” css_params=””]His specialty is landscaping projects in public spaces, ornamental vegetation in urban settings, and landscape restoration, fields in which he has been working since 1998. She trained at the Mediterranean School of Gardens and Landscaping in Grasse, and has designed, implemented, and overseen the maintenance and management of gardens in the south of France. From 2020 to 2024, she worked on the management of Château Capitoul, located in Narbonne, an arid garrigue area, a seven-hectare non-irrigated garden designed by James and Helen Basson, with whom she had previously collaborated. She will speak at DeltaLand about the technical challenges of Château Capitoul, plant selection, development, and the assessment of three years on the ground. In 2024, Caroline returned to her nursery career: today she manages BRL Espaces Naturels in Vestric-et-Candiac, Gard, a 40-hectare nursery where she oversees a team of 20 people.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row wrap_container=”yes” content_placement=”middle” css=”.vc_custom_1687347494231{padding-top: 60px !important;padding-bottom: 80px !important;background-color: #ededed !important;}” conditional_render=”%5B%7B%22value_role%22%3A%22administrator%22%7D%5D”][vc_column width=”1/2″ el_class=”pe-lg-4″][vc_row_inner el_class=”justify-content-end”][vc_column_inner animation_delay=”600″ offset=”vc_col-md-9″ animation_type=”fadeInRight”]

SPEAKER Pratobello Landscape

Marco Scano

[/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″ el_class=”ps-lg-4″][vc_row_inner el_class=”justify-content-start”][vc_column_inner offset=”vc_col-md-10″][vc_single_image image=”17622″ img_size=”full” css=”” animation_delay=”500″ el_class=”mb-0″ animation_type=”zoomIn” css_params=””][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1747061504841{margin-right: 10px !important;border-right-width: 10px !important;padding-right: 10px !important;}” css_params=””]In his personal garden on the island of Sardinia, where he lives, Marco experiments with a palette of Sardinian, South African, and Australian plants within an approach he defines as “ecological planting,” based on plant communities that respond to local character and a sense of place.
